LHS Softball Streaks to 4-0 Start

The Liberal softball team is 4-0 after winning six games all of last year. The Redskins took two at Hugoton Thursday 16-10 and 17-7.

In game one, Jayce Darroch was the winning pitcher allowing eight hits while LHS banged out 14 hits. Darroch was 3-3 at the dish with three RBI’s. Cynthia Cisneros added three hits and three RBI’s and Amanda Love was 3-5 with two RBI’s. Emily Bayouth was 2-3 with four RBI’s.

In game two, Ramey Petty struck out three and walked one in the win. Caty Hinnergardt was 3-6 with two doubles and five RBI’s. Emily Bayouth went 4-6 with two doubles and two RBI’s. Jayce Darroch was 3-5 with a double and two RBI’s.

The LHS JV won 25-14 and 19-3.

LHS plays at Goodland Monday.
