LHS Softball Splits with Hugoton

Liberal and Hugoton split a softball double header Thursday at the National Beef Family Sports Complex.  Hugoton won the first game 3-1 and Liberal took game two 8-2.

Liberal only had one hit in the first game.  In game two, Alexia Torres had two hits and Eyleen Vasquez and Mikayla Zapien each had two RBI’s.  Kaeleah Chaloupek got the win and did not give up an earned run.

LHS is 5-1 and plays at Scott City on Friday, April 6.
