LHS Opens Boys Golf Season

It was a windy and cold start to the boys golf season, but all things considered, the boys faired alright in their first tournament. Cameron Riley took third overall with a 78. Alex Carrasco tied for tenth with an 86. As a team, we scored a 355, which earned us fourth. We were within striking distance of Guymon at third with a 349 and Garden City at second with a 346. Hays won the tournament with a 321. Individually, the tournament was won by Tradgon McCrae from Hays who shot a 75. Liberal continues the season on Thursday, April 5 when varsity competes at Guymon and Junior Varsity competes at home. The JV tournament begins at 3:00 at Willow Tree Golf Course.
