Liberal’s High School’s homecoming is Saturday night. The king and queen will be crowned in between the boys and girls basketball games. The girls game begins at 6 with the ceremony in between games on 1270 and kscbnews.net. The king candidates are Rex Heronemus, Mershek Wiltshire, Jerry Valdez, Edwin Sobalvarro, and AJ Coleman. The queen candidates are Megan Besecker, Allyson Nondorf, Jessica Rodriguez, Diamond Ward, and Kelly Ramirez. There will be a pink theme again this year as students will wear pink to fight cancer. There will be a special ceremony during halftime of the boys game. The LHS cheerleaders will participate in a tumble a thon. You can pledge money for every back handspring completed by the cheerleader of your choice. The proceeds will be donated to the family of Emily Bremenkamp.
