LHS Girls Golf Youth Movement on Track

The LHS girls golf team went to Mariah Hills Thursday for the DC invite. Evan Sumner was low for the team with an 53, Jamie Brond 56, Amanda Beamon 59 and Julie Jackle 69. Head coach Kody Thexton says the youth movement is on track. "The girls played OK, The younger girls are shooting better and that is encouraging." Garden City won the touranment and also placed top individual Makinze Thayer with an 1under par 36.
The next tournament will be on Monday at Garden City starting at 1
