Lewallen Introduces New Assistant During Sportsguys

After working without an assitant coach since March, Bert Luallen is all smiles these days. The head volleyball coach at Seward introduced his new assistant Emilyn Jordan during the Sportsguys Friday morning.
The Brazoria, Texas native comes to Seward from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. She played four years at Southeastern Louisiana University.
She joins Luallen who is 187-116 in seven seasons at Seward. His Jayhawk West record is 55-21.
Jordan replaces Michelle Hayes as assistant coach.
Seward will put on camps at Meade June 18-20; Satanta June 25-27; Bucklin July 9-11; Hugoton July 16-18; and Perryton July 23-24.
Seward will also host an individual skills camp July 30-August 1 for grades 6-8 from 9-11 a.m. and grades 9-12 from 1-3 p.m. Team camp will be July 30-August 1 from 6-9 p.m.
Seward finished 25-16 last year and 9-5 in the Jayhawk West. They were the Region 6 Tournament runner up.
