Lamar Rallies Past Seward Again

KSCB News - March 1, 2012 6:39 am

The Saints baseball team continued their late inning struggles Wednesday
as they blew 7-1 and 3-1 leads to Lamar to fall in both ends of a double
dip. In game one, the Saints went up big 7-1 before slowly seeing their
lead slip away as Lamar scored 10 unanswered runs in a 10-8 win. In
game two it was more of the same as Seward led 3-1 into the 5th before
giving up a two run home run to tie it before eventually falling 4-3.

The Saints open conference play Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. against

Cloud County for double headers both days. Game one Saturday will

air on Talkradio 1270 and both games air on Sunday.
