With a season sweep  over Hutchinson and Cowley now in their pockets, the tenth ranked Seward Lady Saints have taken command on the Jayhawk Conference.  Seward beat #22 Cowley 70-58 Saturday night at Scott Auditorium in Ark City.

Cowley led  Seward 27-15 after one quarter. Seward outscored Cowley 13-7 one he second quarter to lead 28-24 at halftime. The Lady Saints out paced the Lady Tigers 23-13 in the third. So Seward allowed only 20 Cowley points in the second and third quarters.

Seward is 21-2 and 17-2 in the Jayhawk. Cowley is the 19-4 and 15-4 in the KJCCC. Seward hosts Coffeyville Wednesday night at 6 with Saints Shoot-around at 5:45 on 107.5 and kscbnews.net. An individual bought out the game so admission is free with tickets available at Pizza Hut, Freddy’s, Old Chicago, Chrysler Corner, First National Bank, and the Community Bank.
