The Seward Lady Saints scored two points in the first 12 minutes of the game and still won 49-46 Saturday night in front of a packed Green House. Seward also committed 28 turnovers and still won. The Lady Saints won with defense holding Butler (16-5, 4-3) to 28 percent shooting and forced 19 turnovers.

Seward trailed 15-4 early and trailed 23-19 at halftime. Madison McClain led the Lady Saints with 18 points and nine rebounds. Ricquia Jones scored 11 and had seven rebounds.
