Lady Redskins Softball Drops Two to Hays

The Lady Redskins softball squad dropped two Tuesday afternoon to the Hays Indians. In Game 1 the Liberal girls were held to just 3 hits and were struck out 9 times to lose the opener in 5 innings, 10 – 0. In Game 2, Hays jumped out early, scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning and 5 in the 2nd. Liberal managed to put 3 runs on the board in the 3rd inning, however Hays continued to roll, winning in 5 14 – 3. The Lady Redskins drop to 6 – 12 on the season, and will play Dodge City on Tuesday to wrap up the regular season.
