Lady Red Shuts Down TMP

Liberal could get used to playing a home.  Liberal’s girls soccer team beat TMP 3-0 Tuesday night in their second home game of the season at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Gisselle Melendez scored in the 10th minute to give LHS the game’s first goal.  Jasmine Hernandez found the back of the net for a 2-0 lead.  Stefany Ortuno scored the final goal.  Liberal is 5-4-1.  They host Hays Thursday with JV at 4 and varsity at about 5:30.  Hays and Liberal played to a scoreless tie when they played in Hays.
