KSCB News - June 25, 2012 2:43 pm

Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Commissioner, Bryce Roderick, has announced a change in leadership in the role of KJCCC Supervisor of Baseball Umpires. The past four years Sacha Sanguinetti has been the KJCCC Supervisor for Baseball Umpires but with increasing demands in his work schedule, Sacha has asked to be relieved of his duties as supervisor. Sacha will continue as a KJCCC Assigner of Umpires in the West. Sacha has served a vital role for KJCCC baseball and the KJCCC thanks him for his service.

The new KJCCC Supervisor of Baseball Umpires will be Greg Harmon of Topeka. Greg is not new to the KJCCC as he has been serving as a KJCCC Assigner for the past four years. Greg has a wealth of experience in baseball umpiring, In the KJCCC, NCAA, and semi-pro.

Greg umpires in the Big 12, Missouri Valley, Mid-Continent/Summit/ and MIAA conferences. He has worked the NCAA Division II World Series, NCAA Division I Regional, and conference tournaments in the Missouri Valley, Mid-Continent/Summit, and the MIAA. Greg has also worked the semi-pro National Baseball Conference World Series for 14 years.

Greg has worked in the KJCCC and in Region VI Tournaments. He is currently assigning umpires for the KJCCC.

Greg is a public school administrator with the Topeka schools. He is President of the Topeka Umpire association. Greg is founder and conducts the Topeka Premier Umpire Camp (www.topekaumpclinic.com) each summer.

We welcome Greg Harmon in this expanding role in the KJCCC.
