Jayce Darroch is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal High School junior softball player is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. The right hander pitched Liberal to a 9-3 win Tuesday in the opener at the Liberal Softball Complex. Darroch struck out six and walked two while allowing five hits in the complete game. She was 5-7 in the two games including three RBI’s in the 16-1 game two win over Ulysses.

Liberal plays a double header at 4 p.m. Thursday in Hugoton.
