KSCB News - October 8, 2015 6:51 am

After building a 2-0 lead in front of their frenzied crowd, Seward County dropped three straight sets. Hutchinson is 18-4 and 9-1 in conference while the Saints are 20-10 and 9-2. It is Seward’s first home loss of the season as Seward is 9-1 with one regular season home match remaining.

Seward’s kill percentage was .189 against the rangy Blue Dragons. Maritza Mesa had 13 kills and hit .333 while Alex Wood had 13 kills and 13 digs. Amanda Pereira had 26 assists. Liberal’s Jai Chapman had 15 kills and 10 digs for Hutch notching her ninth double-double of the season.
