Hutch Continues their Conference Dominance in Volleyball

The Hutchinson Blue Dragons have won three straight Jayhawk West volleyball titles. This Hutch team is particularly dominant going to 13-0 with a 3-1 win at Seward Monday night. With local fans clapping in unison for Hutchinson to win the match, the Dragons won with Liberal’s Jai Chapman and Hugoton’s Nicole Kinser wearing Blue Dragon red and blue. Seward lost (13-25, 26-24, 16-25, 14-25). Seward’s kill percentage was only .034. Carolina Gasparini led Seward with 10 kills and 17 digs. Seward falls to 21-13 overall and 8-5 in the Jayhawk West. Hutch is 13-0 in conference and 20-9 overall. Seward plays at Butler Wednesday night.
