OTTAWA, Kan. – The Southwestern College men’s and women’s outdoor track & field team competed in the 2021 KCAC Championships last week, seeing several personal records across the board as well as one individual conference champion on the men’s side.

Tony Kinser (JR/Hugoton, Kan.) earned first place in the men’s high jump, clearing 2.10m to earn the team ten points. Kinser sits in first in the KCAC on the year with the highest mark and is top three nationally. The leap also is a new KCAC record. Earlier this season he qualified for the NAIA national championships and will compete in the event later this month down in Gulf Shores, Ala.
