Hooker Overpowers Liberal

The Hooker Bulldogs defeated the Liberal Redskins 65-48 in the Big House Friday night.

Hooker led 10-7 after one quarter after Liberal Shay Kerr beat the buzzer with a shot at the end of the quarter.  The Bulldogs led 27-23 at the half.  Hooker out scored the Redskins 20-7 in the third quarter to lead 47-30 after three.

Cole Cathcart led Hooker with 21 points .  Zach Hidalgo added 13 and Cole Fischer scored 12.  Embry Williams had 19 for Liberal.

Hooker made 21-32 free throws while Liberal was 11-12 at the foul line.

Liberal falls to 5-11 and Hooker is 17-2.  Liberal plays at Hugoton Tuesday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  Hooker plays at Guymon Saturday night.
