Hooker Man Killed In Accident

A Hooker, Oklahoma, man was killed in a single vehicle roll-over accident in Texas County early Monday morning.

Jason Lee Marshall, 24, of Hooker, was transported to Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon, where he was pronounced dead of internal injuries.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, the fatality collision occurred at 5:34 a.m. Monday on a county road 16.4 miles north and 5 miles west of Guymon in Texas County when the northbound 1993 Dodge pickup he was driving left the roadway to the left, hit an embankment, went airborne and then rolled two times, coming to rest on its wheels. Marshall, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle.

The incident was investigated by Trooper Ryan Williams of the Guymon Detachment.
