Hill and Wagenseller Make State

Brock Kappelmann - May 13, 2019 4:13 pm

Liberal’s Tracey Hill and Kyle Wagenseller qualify for 6A state golf! The regional course–Tex Consolver–proved to be a difficult pitch for all golfers with only one score in the 70s. That was shot by Sion Audrain of Garden City who won the tournament with a two under par 70. Garden City won the team title with Dodge City following in second and Derby in third. Liberal took fourth as a team.  Hill shot a 95 and Wagenseller carded a 101.  This is Hill and Wagenseller’s first appearance at state golf. State golf will be held at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kansas on Monday, May 20.
