Haskell County Crash Kills Satanta Woman

A Satanta woman lost her life while two Satanta infants were injured after an afternoon crash on Highway 83 in Haskell County Tuesday. Forty-nine year old Alicia Carrasco of Satanta was killed in the crash. She was in a 2005 Durango traveling south on Highway 83 which traveled left of center when a semi struck the car on the northbound shoulder of 83. The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. about 15 miles north of Sublette. The driver of the Durango, 24 year old Marissa Carrasco of Satanta was injured and taken to St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. Two 10 month old infants were injured. Yaritsa Bujanda of Satanta was life flighted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Jaretzy Bujanda was also injured and taken to St. Catherine Hospital. Neither car seat the infants were sitting in were properly installed.
