Haskell County Collision Injures Two Near Sublette

Two area residents were taken to the hospital after a collision Friday in Haskell County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 72 year old Hershel Lawson of Satanta was stopped on Highway 56 facing east at the Highway 83 junction Friday morning at about 9:30 on the west edge of Sublette. Fifty five year old Sherri Randle of Hugoton was headed east on 56 and failed to slow down for the stoplight at the intersection and crashed into the rear of Lawson’s vehicle. Randle was taken to Satanta District Hospital with injuries. Lawson also received possible injuries.
