Guymon Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

On February 28th, the Guymon Fire Department and the Guymon Police Department were notified of a structure fire at a Seaboard facility located at 3721 Road Z, just east of Guymon. The fire caused an estimated $500,000 in damage, destroying vehicles and a building.

During the course of the investigation, officers with the Guymon Police Department arrested SAMUEL SOBREVILLA-SANTOS on charges of domestic assault. SOBREVILLA-SANTOS was later interviewed by investigators about the fire, and it was determined he was responsible for starting the fire.

SOBREVILLA-SANTOS is currently being held at the Texas County Detention Center. His charges include Domestic Assault and Battery by Strangulation and Child Neglect from the initial arrest, as well as a subsequent charge of Second Degree Arson as a result of the fire investigation.

SOBREVILLA-SANTOS’ bond is set at $10,000 in the first case and $250,000 in the second.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
