Guymon Gashes Lady Skins

Add the Guymon game to a growing list of games in which the Liberal Lady Redskins led at the half and were blown out in the second half. Liberal built a 25-13 lead and led 28-24 at the break before again falling apart in the second half of a 60-40 blowout loss to Guymon in Guymon. The loss snaps Liberal’s 10 game winning streak against the Lady Tigers.
Guymon’s Jahaira Marquez scored 17 while Yajaira Rodriguez added 13 and Ashlyn Wadley scored 13 for the 7-14 Lady Tigers. Marisol Regalado led Liberal with 13 while Jai Chapman added 11 for 4-12 Liberal.
LHS plays at Hays Friday at 6 p.m. on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net. Guymon hosts Hugoton Friday. The Liberal girls will be featured during Thursday night’s Rowdy Crowd Show at 5:30 at Billy’s on Talkradio 1270.
