Girl Scouts Are Chili Champs In Hooker

Local Girl Scouts from Hooker Oklahoma won the annual chili cook-off in Hooker on Saturday April 17th. The team consisted of Alisha Ellis, Brittany McCann, Sadie Wilson-Scott, Jessica Hogie, Kambrey and Kaden Weber with a little help from Lynn Weber, Donnie and Johnnie Robertson. The girls won $100.00 and the right to compete in the annual KSCB Chili Cook-Off in September. They also won $100.00 for Peoples Choice Presentation. In second place was last years winner, Mills Ideal, who also won People’s Choice Chili. The Mills team consisted of, LeRay Humble and Patty Mills. In third was the Hooker Car Show Volunteers, Dennis Martin, Steve Walton, Kent Martin, and Doug Toombs. The Relay For Life Team came in fourth.
