Freightliner Overturns in Grant County

A truck driver is in the hospital after overturning a Freightliner in Grant County Monday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 50 year old Eli Lopez of Garden City was injured and taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with injuries. Lopez was driving on K190 in Grant County a half mile south of Ryus at about 3 p.m. Monday afternoon. He went around the curve too fast in the truck causing the Freightliner to move left of center and roll over.
