Fire crews saw heavy smoke and flames when they arrived at 4220 E. Nancy Avenue #1108 at 7:20 a.m.

Firefighters found two children in one bedroom and a 26-year-old woman in another bedroom. All were pronounced dead.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Finney County Sheriff’s Office, Garden City Fire Department, and Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office.
