A fatality accident occurred on Sunday evening at approximately 6:14 pm at the intersection of U.S HWY 56/ NS 23 in Cimarron County Oklahoma. A vehicle being driven by Joshua Olvera, 44, of Olathe Kansas was traveling West on US 56 near North/ South 23 yielding to a vehicle making a left turn when a vehicle being driven by Cyrus Wagner, 34, of Boise City Oklahoma rear ended the Olvera vehicle.

Both drivers were injured in the accident, a passenger in Olvera’s vehicle, Treaton Hartsook, 18, of Olathe Kansas, died at the scene. Four other passengers in the Olvera vehicle were injured also. Seatbelts were in use in both vehicles.
