Emergency Preparedness Drill for Liberal High School Students in May

Joe Denoyer - April 5, 2021 11:49 am

The LPD in conjunction with USD 480 will be hosting an emergency preparedness drill for Liberal High School  students in May. The Liberal Police Department wants to  inform the community that this is just a drill.
This mock drill will utilize LPD who initiates a traffic stop which leads to an active shooter situation, LFD to extract victims pinned in a wrecked vehicle and Seward County EMS who will be treating any “injuries” of those victims.
This event is on the schedule for May 6th at approximately 11:00. This could change depending on school availability.
Again this is just a drill.
