Easton Zapien is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior running back Easton Zapien is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Zapien rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns in Liberal’s season opening 43-32 loss at Goodland last week.  Zapien has made state in both of his LHS wrestling seasons and also participates in track and field at Liberal.  Zapien and the Redskins host the Dodge City Red Demons Friday night at 7 at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  The game airs on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
