Drug Arrest Made in Hugoton

In the early morning hours of Monday August the 27th, Officer McCann of the Hugoton Police Department initiated a traffic stop in the 500 block of S. Main. During the investigation of the traffic stop, it was determined that drugs and paraphernalia were in the vehicle. The driver, Jeanette Flores of Dodge City was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of a stimulant, possession of drug paraphernalia, and equipment failure. Charges have been forwarded to the Stevens County Prosecutor.
