Doubles Teams Show Strongly at Scott City

Liberal finished 4th as a team behind Ashland, Tribune, and Scott City.
Ulysses and Colby completed this 6-team round robin event. Both doubles
teams fought for 1st Place honors while our singles players struggled to
close out matches.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles–Valerie Esqueda finished 1-4 but is gaining valuable experience.

#1 Doubles–Jordyn Apsley & Tierra Stoney went 4-1 and battled undefeated
Tribune in the finals, winning 8-6 for 1st Place Honors

#2 Singles–Nikki Gill went 2-3 on the day, but lost a close tie-breaker to
finish 4th Place.

#2 Doubles–Kayla Tran & Cassy San Luis went 4-1 on the day losing the
championship match to Colby 8-6 finishing 2nd Place.

The Lady Skins Travel to Garden City on Saturday.
Our home JV tournament is tomorrow in BlueBonnet Park at 3:00 p.m.
