Domino Signs at Huston-Tillotson

Brock Kappelmann - January 24, 2018 2:32 pm

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County volleyball player Briana Domino will continue her career with the Huston-Tillotson Rams, making it official Wednesday afternoon in the All-American Room.

Domino appeared in 61 matches over her two years, accumulating 310 kills. She finished second on the team in 2017 with 357 digs, good for 3.13 digs per set. Domino was part of an historic rotation in her two years at Seward County, helping the Lady Saints to a 60-13 overall record and their first Region VI Championship in 13 years. In 2017, she was part of the Lady Saints squad that produced a program-high No. 3 ranking in the NJCAA National polls. After an impressive sophomore season, Domino earned a spot on the KJCCC All-Conference Honorable Mention team.

The Texas native will play closer to home for her final two years, making the trip to Austin, Texas to play for Head Coach Dan Behnke. The Rams finished 2017 with a 21-9 record and were runner-up in the Red River Conference.
