Dodge City Casino 95% Complete

(AP) – Officials with Boot Hill Gaming Inc. in

Dodge City say the first state-owned casino is 95 percent complete

and will open on schedule Dec. 15. Boot Hill president Jeff Thorpe

says the interior of Boot Hill Casino and Resort is finished but

the slot machines haven’t arrived. Ground was being broken on

Tuesday for a new event center that will set next to the casino.
