Cub Scouts To Host Pinewood Derby

Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, leaders and family members are preparing their Pinewood Derby cars for the Cimarron River District Pinewood Derby Championships.

The racing date is set for Saturday at the Liberal South Church of God, 635 S. Washington.

Cub Scout Pack No. 43 is hosting the Pinewood Derby Championships.

Check-in is at 1 p.m. Two racing divisions will be conducted. Cub Scout Division for Cub Scouts only and the Outlaw Division for Boy Scouts, leaders and family members.

First-, second- and third-place medals will be awarded in each division and every participant receives a participation medal. Come and enjoy the best racing excitement for this day.
