The latest statistics released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department, and surrounding Counties for Wednesday May 27 show Seward County has had 849 individuals test results have come back positive for Coronavirus. 554 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19.

Around the area, Stevens County has 27 positive cases Haskell County 18 positive cases, Morton County has 4 positive cases , Grant County has 18 positive cases, Meade County has 26 positive cases, Stanton County has 8 positive cases, Ford County has 1,628 positive cases, and Finney County has 1,418 positive cases. Beaver County has 24 positive cases while Texas County has 902 positive tests. Ochiltree County/Perryton TX has 37 in county positive cases and 11 out of County positives

Hospitalizations due to COVID-19

Seward County – 32 hospitalized
Ford County – 41 hospitalized
Finney County – 33 hospitalized
Stevens County – 2 hospitalized
Grant County – 1 hospitalized
Haskell County – 1 hospitalized
Stanton County – 2 hospitalized
Some of the individuals have been discharged from the hospital.
