Cole Evans is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior baseball player Cole Evans is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Evans set the school records for home runs (6) and RBI’s (64) in a career at LHS Saturday in Alva.  The slugging first baseman is hitting .462 with a homer and 13 RBI’s.  He has seven doubles.  On the mound, Evans is 4-0 with a .79 ERA.   The right hander has 38 strikeouts and six walks.  Evans also plays basketball and is in NHS and AVID.  Evans and the Redskins host Colby Friday at 4 at the National Beef Family Sports Complex.
