Cole Evans is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior forward Cole Evans is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Evans averages five points and five rebounds per game for the 18-2 Redskins.  Cole has scored 14 in the past two games.  He shoots 76 percent at the foul line and 55 percent from the field.  Evans is a two year starter for the Redskins who have won back to back WAC titles.  Evans is also an all WAC baseball player.  He is in NHS, Avid, and on LHS’s Student Advisory Council.  He and the Redskins host 10-10 Bishop Carroll in the Big House Thursday night at 6 with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  Admission is free for K-12 students in Liberal thanks to area businesses.
