Coffee Bar Huge Success at Liberal Memorial Library

Joe Denoyer - December 6, 2019 9:58 am

Now that the coffee bar has been up and running for one year now, we can accurately say we are blown away by its success. The coffee bar has become one of the standout features of the Library and this is due directly to local businesses and community residents stepping forward and agreeing to sponsor free coffee for one month for our patrons at the library. Every cup of coffee dispensed in 2019 was at no charge to anyone visiting the library.

For the year 2020, a minimum donation of $200.00 provides free coffee to our patrons for one month.

For those of us that work with people every day, it cannot be underestimated the power a cup of coffee has to turn someone’s day around or add a bit of comfort in a time of need.

Your sponsorship covers the cost of coffee, creamer, sugar, and cups. In return, we will display a sign in our coffee area letting everyone know the coffee is on you this month. We will also include this information on our digital sign in front of the library on Kansas Avenue, on our various social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram), our website, and in our electronic newsletter (weekly publication). With Facebook, we reach out to 1200+ subscribers and our electronic newsletters reach 750 library patrons. The library has 20,000 registered cardholders and receives about 110,000 visits each year.

If you would like to talk more about being a sponsor, please contact Royce Kitts, Director via email at [email protected] or by phone at 620.626.0180.

Please stop by the library and have a cup of coffee on us.
