Clayton Clips Lady Skins

The Clayton girls rallied to beat Liberal 43-41 Tuesday night in Clayton, New Mexico. Liberal couldn’t finish a game they led 17-10 after one quarter, 25-20 at halftime, and 34-31 after three. Liberal led 29-22 in the third quarter. Clayton led 40-37 after a three pointer but LHS rallied to lead 41-40 but would never lead again. Clayton won despite going 2-14 at the foul line in the second half. Megan Besecker led the Lady Redskins with 11 and Carolina Limon scored 10. Liberal played without injured starters Ali Lucero and Kelly Ramirez. LHS is 3-9 and the Lady Yellowjackets are 12-7. Liberal plays at Dodge City Tuesday.
