Claflin Clips Meade in State Semifinals

Central Plains-Claflin beat Meade in the 2A state semifinals 60-45 Friday afternoon in Manhattan. Central Plains held Meade’s leading scorer Bailey Olvera to six points. Jaylin Stapleton scored 16 to lead the Lady Buffs. Central Plains led 32-23 at halftime. Meade is 20-5 and will play Washington County Saturday at noon.
