The Beautification Department would like to remind Liberal residents the Spring Tree Match Program is under way. Applications for the program are available at the Recreation Center at 1109 W. 7th Street.

The program is open to any resident, business or non-profit organization, including churches, in the Liberal city limits. Participants are allowed to order between one and four trees per residence, and the spring order trees will be available around April 1.

The list of trees offered this spring are:

• Rising Sun Redbud

• Skyline Honey Locust

• Chinese Pistach

• Silverwood Sycamore

• Noreaster Cottonwood

• Cleveland Select Pair

• Crape Myrtle

• Althea

The variety of trees may be subject to availability. Most trees will be 5- to 7-gallon container size, and are $25 each. There will be a larger order placed in the fall with more varieties and sizes available.
