Charges Filed In Death Of Scott City Infant

Murder charges have been filed against a Scott City woman in the death of her three-month old son.
The Attorney General’s office announced that Marilyn Hoffman, 26, is charged with first degree felony murder and child abuse in the death of Xavier Hoffman.
Xavier Hoffman was transported to a Wichita hospital Saturday and was pronounced dead Tuesday morning. Marilyn Hoffman was arrested in Wichita and taken to Scott City where she remains in custody.
