Carrasco Leads Skins at Great Bend

Liberal boys carded a solid 328 at the Great Bend Invitational with all four scores under 90. Liberal was lead this week by Alex Carrasco who shot a 78 and earned 9th place. He was followed by Cameron Riley at 80, Sean Titus at 81, and Dylan Shellenberger at 89. The boys placed fourth at the tournament, falling only 6 strokes behind Dodge City. Hays took second at 301 and Garden City won the day with a 294. Garden City’s Taylor Larsen and Sion Audrain had to battle it out for first place. They both shot 70 on the day and it was Larsen who took the title after two playoff holes. Play continues for the Redskins on Friday when we compete at Buffalo Dunes in Garden City.
