Burn Ban Reissued in Beaver County

The Beaver County Board of Commissioners proclaimed that extreme fire danger exists in Beaver County promting a burn ban for seven days. The ban means it is unlawful for any person to set fire to any forest, grass, range, crop, or other wildlands, or to build a campfire or bonfire, or to burn rubbish or other material that may cause a wildland fire. Any person convicted of violating this resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not more than 500 dollars, imprisonment of more than one year, or both. Beaver County Commissioners adopted the ban Monday for a seven day period.
