Buhler Posterizes Redskins

The Buhler Crusaders dunked four times and missed one dunk in a 67-55 win over the Liberal Redskins Sunday night at Salina Central. LHS finishes 1-2 at the Salina Invitational. Cade Hinkle scored a career high 28 in the loss.

The Redskins jumped out to a 9-4 lead and led 16-14 after one. Buhler, coached by former Hutch JUCO coach Ryan Swanson, led 33-25 at halftime. Buhler out scored the Skins 14-6 in the third quarter and led by as many as 18 (47-29). The Skins ripped off an 18-9 run to make it a nine point game (56-47) with 3:24 to play. Buhler made seven three pointers and Liberal had four.

Liberal is 8-4 and class 4A division 1 Buhler is 9-3. Liberal hosts Clayton Tuesday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
