Britton Abbott is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior forward Britton Abbott is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. The 6’3" Abbott leads the Skins in rebounding at over seven per game. He also averages six points per game for the 5-11 Redskins who play at Hays at about 7:45 tonight on Talkradio 1270.

Abbott’s favorite sport however is football where Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, and others are recruiting him. Abbott passed for a school record 2,316 yards last season. Abbott is also a thrower in the LHS track and field program and a member of FCA.
