#breakthesilence 5K Supports Victims of Sexual Assault

More than 30 walkers and runners participated in the 2nd annual #breakthesilence 5K on Saturday, April 22. Proceeds from the race supported the Southwest Sexual Assault Services program at Southwest Medical Center, which provides care services for victims of rape and sexual assault. The #breakthesilence 5K was sponsored by: Brown’s Shoe Fit, Southwest Medical Center, Southern Office Supply, High Plains Pizza Hut, El-Kan Drug & Registry, and First National Bank.
