BJ’s Game Rained Out at Dodge City

The Liberal Bee Jays game scheduled for Dodge City Wednesday night has been rained out. The game will not be made up. Liberal offered to pay for Dodge City to travel to Liberal to play tonight but the A’s elected not to do that. The BJ’s are seeking a forfeit. Liberal sits in third in the Jayhawk at 17-14 while Hays is 17-13. Hays has a game at Dodge City and a game against league champ El Dorado which will not be made up. Dodge City finishes 16-27 overall and 5-25 in the Jayhawk. Liberal will play an exhibition game at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita Saturday night at 7:30 against the Midnight Sun Goldpanners. Liberal defeated the Goldpanners 8-4 Tuesday night.
