Bee Jays Sweep Doubleheader in Derby

The Liberal Bee Jays continued their hot streak by sweeping a doubleheader at Derby Tuesday night.

The Bee Jays won game one 9-2, and took game two 6-4. They were both seven inning games. With the victories the Bee Jays have now won 12 of their last 13 and are 21-7 overall and 13-7 in the Jayhawk League. Derby drops to 9-16 in the league.

Liberal and Derby will face off again tonight for a single game at 7 p.m. The game will air on 1270 AM and right here on kscbnews.net.

Note: Hays beat Haysville 4-2 on Tuesday. Haysville is now 16-8 overall in the Jayhawk League. The Bee Jays are one game back at 13-7, with Hays one and a half games out of first at 12-7.
