Arrest Made in Aggravated Battery Case

On Saturday March 6th, at approximately 4:39am, Liberal Police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West 6th Street in reference to a female bleeding from her head.

Responding officers located a 33 year old male trying to enter the residence where a 35 year old male and a 37 year old female were located. Investigating officers learned that the 33 year old male began attacking the 37 year old female, causing her to lose consciousness.

The 33 year old male was arrested and booked into the Seward County Jail charged with burglary, aggravated battery, battery, criminal damage, battery on a law enforcement officer, and interference with a law enforcement officer.
